Botao Ji received his B.D. in 2007 majoring in chemistry and M.D. in 2010 majoring in nanomaterial chemistry at Shandong University. He completed his doctor’s degree of physical chemistry at Université Pierre et Marie Curie in 2014. He has been doing postdoctoral research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2015 and 2018, researching on synthesis and photoelectric properties of inorganic nanocrystals in Prof. Uri Banin’s group. Dr. Botao Ji joined the School of Engineering in Westlake University as an assistant professor and doctoral supervisor in 2019. His interested research includes the synthesis and optical/electronic properties of heavy-metal-free QDs and developing new applications based on their unique properties.
